Rihanna, Kendrick, and Travis Scott Music Take #2
Music Take #2
- Rihanna
- Kendrick
- Travis Scott
- Music, Concert stories, Discussing favourite songs, Why do I rock with these artists?
Rihanna:
I grew up listening to a lot of Rihanna. Umbrella, Work and
Stay are just three of many ClassicRiRi songs that I love to jam to.
As of late, I could really use some more new music from Rihanna
for summer 2020. Doing a little bit of research, there was this
article that I read about how Rihanna has a new album called R9
set to release soon but, no further details have yet to be made.
(If you would like to take a look at the article, I will leave it right here, below.)

In the meantime I will be alright listening through
her albums, features and classics. Sadly, I have not attended a
Rihanna concert, but hope to have the chance to do so in the
future.

My ten favourite songs in no particular order include:
Robyn Rihanna Fenty aka Rihanna is one of the greatest artists to grace the microphone.
She is a singer, song writer, actress and businesswoman.
I enjoy her music, applaud all her success especially in her company Fenty Beauty.
She has lots of talents and is able to give back to children in need
(This link includes 24 different charities that she is continues to wsupport:https://www.looktothestars.org/celebrity/rihanna#charities)
With her career, she strives to get better and better and for that she is one of my inspirations. I will never forget the short film she was featured in with Childish Gambino, called Guava island. The music, story and film is very intriguing and delightful to watch.

asking the right questions and being fearless to me Kendrick Lamar is that artist, I gravitate towards.
Musically, Kendrick is one of the greatest of all time. Not afraid to go rap about self development,
fighting with different concepts such as love, fear, pain and so much more.
My favourite album that I purchased on iTunes was To Pimp a Butterfly in 2015.
After listening to that album I will never be the same.
I learned what it is like to go from achieving all these goals that you make for yourself. You start doubting yourself like What am I doing here? Who has my best interest at heart? When is the next level where I am able to continue and grow? How do I get better?
Going home, learning from friends and family is what Kendrick did and he used the new concepts and brought them to the world for all those willing to listen. I'm excited on what he does next as a part of his legacy.
Top 10 Kendrick Tracks that I enjoy:
I was fortunate to go to the DAMN Tour in Vancouver. It was surreal. From singing Humble Acapella, to experiencing the concert from the floor, breaking my bank for tickets which I do not regret. "It was one of the best live shows I have ever seen," my friend said as we were leaving the concert.

I listen to Travis Scott when I knew very little about his music.
Back in 2013, when Drake dropped his mixtape If You're Reading This It's Too Late,
I could not help but notice, Travis Scott's feature with Drake on a song called Company.
I think that song is a classic. Anyways, that was the first song I ever listened to that featured him
and the rest was history. Today, Travis Scott, is without a doubt one of my favourite rap artists.
A fun fact about him is that, we both share the same birthday. To me that is really really really
awesome! He is 27 and I am 22. To put that in a better perspective, it is like he was entering
grade 12 while on the other hand I was entering in my freshman year, in grade eight.
10 of my favourite Travis Scott songs include:
I rock with Jacques Berman Webster II aka Travis Scott because
he has a lot of good things going for him.
Rapper/ Singer/Songwritter/Record Producer he is an
accomplished musician with lots of crazy
stage performances that his fans love to experience. I was glad I got
the opportunity to go to the
concert, when he came to Vancouver last year in January.
My friend and I had the time of our lives
vibing with Travis Scott.
Funny enough, I have some of the concert clips on my instagram story
It was amazing to buy a shirt and hat and for Travis Scott to wear the same matching shirt at the
beginning of the show was absolutely insane!

Expanding into different industries such as fashion (his own shoe line with Jordan, and Nike Skate Boarding.)
As well as releasing a documentary on Netflix, which takes a deep look at what his childhood was like, the process of putting together Astroworld and personal clips of his daughter Stormi and girlfriend Kylie Jenner.
I am looking forward to new merchandise, new music projects and for Travis Scott to continue to lead hip hop to higher heights of musical masterpieces that have yet to be released.
Thanks for reading.
